Check in windows 7


  1. Enter the Start menu , right click on Computer and then click on Properties .
  2. This opens the "System" window. Among other things tells you your version of Windows and Service Pack and the number of bits.

In Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10

  1. Right-click on the Windows Start menu and choose System . 
  2. NOTE:

In Windows XP

  2. Also here, the System window will indicate the version of Windows and the Service Pack, and the bits of your Windows
